Part One: Atmosphere
Choose an atmosphere you would like to create. Write a one to two paragraph setting that describes a place you know well, using details from the five senses. Select only details from the list below to create your chosen atmosphere.

Part Two: Setting, Conflict & Character
Choose a setting that you know well where there could be a conflict between the setting and a character. Write one to two paragraphs describing the character interacting or reacting with the setting to create conflict. You may use any POV for this section. Remember to use your senses and choose specific and vivid details.
