Wow I was surprised by these results at first but I have to say they make sense for the kind of person I am.  I scored equal scores in the avoiding, bargaining, and collaborating styles.  So, I find these ones easier to use.  The one I scored the lowest in was the dominating style.  I am not one to unnecessarily argue about something stupid.

I think my answers would change drastically if the conflict was between a family member or friend.  I tend to know these people better so I feel more comfortable arguing with them about my view points.  For example, my family and I get into arguments about politics all the time and I will stand firm on my view points with them.  If it was a coworker and I though I just definitely try to avoid conflict at any costs.  I am there to do my job and then go home, not to try to argue with anyone and make the job more stressful and annoying to be at.

I feel like my approach to handling conflict is better if I know the person.  If I am not fully comfortable with them yet than I am not going to want to argue with this person.  I will usually just agree to disagree with that person or act like I take their view point.  I would like to change this but at the same time, it really depends on how important the conflict is to decide if I want to argue about it or not.
