 What, according to Machiavelli, is the difference between “virtue” and “fortune”? In order to answer this question, Chapters VI, VII, VIII, XV, XXV of the Prince may be most useful for developing your argument, though of course feel free to use other portions of the text. Also, you may wish to consult the glossary in our edition that points to every instance of key terms (pp. 113-140).
