In Noah Hawley’s Before The Fall a small private airplane crashes in the ocean off Nantucket Island with only two survivors.  Briefly examine why Hawley chooses to structure the book in the way he does, detailing the lives of every passenger leading up to the moment when they boarded the plane.

Using examples from the text, analyze what he may be suggesting about how and why the people behind the 24 hour news cycle distort the real events of the tragedy.

The paper must be at least three full pages and, as always, in MLA format.
