If you have not attended a seminar or colloquium you can find a talk on line to review such as a TED talk . the idea of the assignment was to view a professional technical talk to get a better idea of how these are presented also gives additional practice in writing . The review are between a half page and one page and describe the content of the talk., and why it was good or not presentation . You can describe the style of the speaker ,the quality of the visuals ,etc
