Homework Assignment #4: During your reading of the FY2018 CIO FISMA Metrics v. 1 (see Week 10 reading assignment in the syllabus), the issue of Insider Threat has been mentioned under Section 2.16, page 11. Many organizations today are engaged in the conduct of risk assessment and risk management that are largely focused on hardware and software vulnerabilities; however, many of these organizations are still uninformed or deficient in recognizing the potential damages that insider threat can bring to a physical location housing mission-critical systems and networks. Please read the following brochure (see below link) and explain how you would incorporate insider threat detection into your risk assessment/risk management program. Have fun writing the paper!
