- Correctly use the APA style of citing.
- Summarize and paraphrase without plagiarizing.
- Identify and compose the following types of writing: compare and contrast, argumentative, persuasive, narrative, cause and effect, process, and descriptive.
Instructions
- Review the sample process essays in Chapter 14.
- Read the Critical Thinking and Writing Activities at the end of Chapter 14 and choose one of the essay prompts (1, 2, or 3) to complete.
- Using your chosen prompt, write an essay with an emphasis on process. Make sure to apply the strategies for process writing outlined in your text.
- Your essay should be 750-1000 words.
Assignment Submission
- The use of outside resources is strongly recommended and all papers must be cited and written in APA format.
