This website allows people to compare the results seen at different hospitals across things such as patient experience and timely and effective care. Visit the website and compare the hospitals in your local area. What statistics stand out to you? Do you believe that these statistics should/could play a role in patient care?

2. During the early days of neuroscience, neurosurgeons would cut away brain segments to see how it affected the person, which enabled them to learn the function of different brain segments. Assume that the surgeons were trying to learn how respiration worked in this same manner. Which body or brain parts, if removed, would affect respiration (inhalation and exhalation)?
