*****MUST BE 1250 + WORDS*****

It will be your job to CONVINCE us that you're right, using evidence to support your thesis.

Using logos, pathos, or ethos (logic, emotion, or ethics) as your rhetorical tools, you will tell us when you think Wikipedia is an appropriate source to use, and why.

You'll establish who you're targeting your arguments towards.  Since there is no one right answer about Wikipedia for all groups, it's very important to limit your conclusions about its use for a particular sub-set of people.  Examples of possible audiences include "military veterans," "high school basketball coaches," "early education majors," or "parents of disabled children."  Be creative as you want, but be sure that your arguments clearly address the needs of this specific group as they concern Wikipedia.

 You'll need to:

identify your target audience

compare Wikipedia to other possible sources this audience might use

evaluate the quality of material Wikipedia presents in articles likely to be used by this audience

draft a thesis that persuades this audience to use, or to not use, Wikipedia in a specific way

Use at least six outside sources in total.   At least 2 of these should be Wikipedia articles themselves, though you may use more.  At least 2 should be "academic," / library sources.

Should be double-spaced.   Follow APA formatting guidelines, use In-text Citation for source material, and include a References page (which isn’t counted in the required length of the essay).   This will be submitted as a Google Doc.
