Why don't gas stations offer Black Friday sale?
The Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving holiday) sale is a popular event in American retailing. Alsmost all retailers will participate with a wide range of sale promotion that would point to their loss leader pricing and high/low pricing strategy.
There are exceptions, though. For example, I have not seen any gas stations offering a cent discount on Black Friday. Why don't gas stations offer Black Friday sale? Do you know other American retailers where Black Friday is an unheard of event?
