Overview

MNCs commonly send expatriate managers, or "expats," to run overseas facilities rather than hiring local managers in the host country. To get ready for next week's assignment, you will research sources on the pros and cons of using "expats."

Write a 1-2 page paper on the following:

Define expatriate; provide examples of this type of employee based on research.

Analyze the pros and cons of sending expatriate employees to manage operations in foreign countries.
