Part I: Identify the benefits of parent education for fathers and discuss the implications of positive father figures in the lives of children. Of the two father education programs discussed in your text (Fine & Lee, 2001) (1) incarcerated fathers (2) fathers who batter, which of these two do you feel is the most needed and why? Please provide support for your answers.

Part II: What do your feel is the most beneficial intervention that can be provided to “grandfamilies” where the grandparent is the primary caregiver? In addition, identify which adjustment problems tend to be most problematic in these families.
