For this weekly check-in, answer #3 from "Ethical Dilemmas," p. 179:

Your  father has stolen $30,000 from his employer to pay for surgery that his  sister desperately needs. Without the surgery, she will be dead within  six months. Only you know about his crime. You also know that no one  will ever know who stole the money unless you report the theft to the  authorities. Should you turn your father in to the police? Should you  keep quiet about the matter? What would a virtuous person do?

Be sure to discuss the reasons for your answer for your original thread.

After completing you original thread, reply  to at least two classmates. You may discuss whether you agree about  what to do, why it is the right thing to do, etc.
