We will begin our exploration by turning to the literature and media to provide us guidance in understanding strategic issues in business leadership, initially focusing on Blanchard’s discussion of “high performing organizations” as contrasted with the assigned article and video.

Learning to read and critically reflect on literature and media is an important skill for strategic leaders.

Our dialog will focus on concepts related to leaders and strategic issues, current and recurrent, including vision, organizational performance and knowing one’s employees as being integral to the company’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
