WEEK ONE DISCUSSION POST

PROJECT TOPIC: Comparative Analysis of Access to Healthcare in Rural Communities within the United States.

Minimum of 250 words OR more. You should have a total of 8 articles listed.

· These must be recent (preferably in past 5 years, and not over 10-13 years old – 2010 is the oldest you should be using, and use sparingly)

· These must be peer-reviewed journal articles of primary research

· Sources outside of peer-reviewed journals (government websites, etc.) are encouraged but DO NOT count toward your sources.

· YOU MAY USE THE ARTICLES IN THE CAPSTONE PAPER. HOWERVER, IT MUST BE PEER REVIEWED ARTICLES. VERIFY THAT THE ARTICLES ARE ON THE SCHOLAR GOOGLE WEBSITE (LINK BELOW).

ASSIGNMENT:

Practice using an online computer database (e.g.  https://nu.libguides.com/library/ or  www.scholar.google.com) to search for the literature on your topic/research problem.  Conduct several searches until you find an article that is as close as possible to your research topic/research problem. Provide the APA reference for this article (label it your main article) - provide an explanation as to why this article is the best and closest to your research topic/problem.

Then, conduct a second search using descriptors/keywords mentioned in this main article. 

Locate 7 additional articles that you would select for a literature review on your topic. For each, write one sentence that describes why it relates to your topic and/or how it helps inform your topic/research problem.
