Objective: Improve the ability to differentiate between normal and abnormal age-related physiological and psychological symptoms/changes by successfully identifying and distinguishing them in at least 90% of cases at the end of 10 weeks. c. Objective: Demonstrate proficiency in formulating diagnoses according to DSM 5-TR based on assessment data, achieving an accuracy rate of 95% or higher at the end of 10 weeks.
2. Goal: Improve Pharmacotherapeutic Skills a. Objective: Select evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for medication plans with consideration for risk/benefit, patient preference, developmental considerations, financial aspects, and informed consent for 100% of cases at the end of 10 weeks. b. Objective: Evaluate patient response to pharmacotherapy and modify the plan as necessary in at least 90% of cases, ensuring optimal symptom management and minimal adverse reactions at the end of 10 weeks. c. Objective: Document all relevant information, including adverse reactions, patient response, and changes to the plan of care, accurately and consistently for 100% of cases at the end of 10 weeks.
3. Goal: Enhance Psychotherapeutic Treatment Planning a. Objective: Gain familiarity with therapeutic modalities across the lifespan by actively incorporating at least three different evidence-based modalities into psychotherapeutic plans for diverse cases at the end of 10 weeks. b. Objective: Apply age-appropriate psychotherapeutic counseling techniques effectively with individuals and/or caregivers, demonstrating proficiency in at least three techniques and achieving positive outcomes in 80% of cases at the end of 10 weeks. c.
