Partnerships: For my project I will not be using another organization for my request. Habitat for Humanity will be purchasing the vans and the auto insurance that will go with it.

Sustainability: For my proposal there is a need for future funding since the organization will be purchasing 2 vans for the volunteers and the material needed. The ongoing costs will be gas, insurance, and any mechanical needs. This will paid from the organization each year or monthly for the costs. I put the costs in the last discussion. The costs will all be in the budget that Habitat has agreed upon with the vans being $12,000 each, auto insurance estimated around $4800 a year for both vans, the taxes $1200 for the first year for each van and $300 the remaining years and will continue to decrease, gas will be around $5500 a year or depending on the gas prices, and also any mechanical issues around $7000 a year for the vans. For the ongoing costs the organization does receive donations from other organizations and individuals within the community. With the organization having vans for the volunteers there would possibly be more volunteers since some may not have vehicles to volunteer. With having transportation for the volunteers they could get each of the projects done faster and move onto another one to get families a home they deserve.

Partnership: Olive Crest will connect with the preschool and elementary school closest to the home. The staff will familiarize themselves with the teachers, administrators in the office, and Principle. This will open communication for the child and classroom needs, behaviors, and becoming involved in the school.

Sustainability: If this program is open, the need to provide luggage and clothing will always be helpful for foster children. Although the need may vary based on discharge frequency, the need will be ongoing. The children are not obligated to depart with luggage so the funding would not be a required cost. Hopefully it would be a benefit as well as provide the youth with a sense that they are cared for.
