******** Address in relation to product choice and its target market, the reasoning of the product choice, and the choice country's present economic and political stability (or instability), does the foreign country’s culture and history affect your target market’s needs or not? Will the product need to be adapted in any way in the United States.? If so, how and why? What pricing regulations might affect the promotion of their product?
JH 1. Our product is a professional business edition of Cards Against Humanity, used as an icebreaker game in a professional setting. This game provides excellent ways to get new co-workers or team members out of their shells while discovering some personality and character traits without prying too deeply. Our target market consists of Gen Z and Millennials. 75% percent of the global workforce will comprise Millennials by 2025 (Generational Differences in the Workplace, 2024). Gen Z is a growing population in the corporate workplace, with 2024 coming to an end the last statistic was this generation was a fifth of the labor force population at 18% (Page, Reuss, & Zemper, 2024).
I believe introducing Professional CAH to workplaces in Australia is a great idea. Australia is quite like the United States, both hold democratic values, cultural diversity, English speaking, workplace culture, geographical size and lifestyle, and more. Specifically, with Australia’s work culture being like the USA’s, introducing Professional CAH in Australia would be a great move for the company. The current economic situation for Australia is strong and open, Australians have the highest living standards in the world despite being only 0.3 percent of the global population. (AUDFAT, 2024). This country also holds plenty of natural resources with a highly educated workforce. Australia is a democratic country, a few of its defining political values include freedom of election, being elected, assembly, political participation, speech, expression, religious beliefs, rule of law, and basic human rights (AUDFAT, 2024).
Australia’s culture again, is like the United States, their history was developed differently but overall is diverse and free. Our target market in the country stays the same, the way the country operates does not affect supplying our product here. This connects to us not needing to adapt our product in any way. With high similarities in workplace culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and innovation, presenting Professional CAH to Australia would be a perfect fit. To bring our product into this country we can use a strategic alliance to gain competitive advantages long-term (Peter, 2018). The pricing regulations would have to change slightly to fit the country’s monetary, but the pricing and promotion strategies originally implemented can also be the same. Value-based pricing remains the same as we take into consideration consumers’ needs and willingness to pay to develop according to those needs and budgets (Worapishet, 2022). Professional CAH is currently sold in retail stores like Walmart and Target, in Australia, we would provide our product in Target, Costco, and Myer. The reasoning behind these retailers is that two of them are also in the United States (Target and Costco), and Myer is a popular department store.
Even though the U.S. and Australia are two different countries, they both embrace some of the same qualities, socially, economically, and politically. Once our product is popular in the U.S., we can introduce Professional CAH to Australian workplaces to help create an encouraging and welcoming environment.

NM 2. The products that I will be promoting are electric vehicles (EVs) with a focus on reducing carbon gas emissions and promoting sustainable transportation that protects the ecosystem. The targeted market for this initiative will be the population of Puerto Rico. Specifically, individuals that are environmentally conscious, businesses that are looking for more green initiatives, and residents that are looking for cost-efficient vehicles that don’t require high expenses in gas. “EVs slash the ambient levels of air pollutants that have been linked to hundreds of thousands of early deaths annually around the world from cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, cancer, and other illnesses” (Carey, 2023). Puerto Rico has faced many different energy challenges throughout the years, and they depend on imported fossil fuels. This why EVs are an ideal solution to reduce the cost of gas emission transportation and promote independent eco-energy. Additionally, Puerto Rico’s priority relies on modernizing infrastructure that aligns with renewable energy. Puerto Rico has many economic challenges, including a high public debt burden and high expenses related to imported goods. However, the United States of America provides economic support in these areas because Puerto Rico is considered a country part of the U.S. but not a former state. There are currently many different investment projects to rebuild the infrastructure to one that is focused on sustainable energy, making it the perfect time to introduce innovative products like EVs. Puerto Rico’s historic culture places a strong emphasis on family, community, and sustainability, which aligns with the benefits of EVs. The island's compact size makes EVs appealing for short commutes, which is perfect for getting anywhere without having to stop as much to recharge EVs.
Adaptations are a must, especially when it comes to EVs. One way I can do this is by enhancing battery weather resistance and durability. This is due to Puerto Rico’s tropical climate, humidity, rainy season, and mountainous terrain. “The Caribbean region experiences an average of 14 annual tropical storms and hurricanes, some of which harm human and environmental systems” (Covert, 2022) this is why EVS must withstand climate changes. Pricing will need to reflect Puerto Rico's economic conditions, importation costs, and incentives for renewable energy like tax breaks. Strategic promotional methods should include cost savings on fuel and maintenance of motor engines compared to traditional vehicles. Partnership and networking with local dealerships are the main strategy that can be utilized for the proper distribution of this product. Distribution strategies in Puerto Rico may involve partnerships with local dealerships. I can also partner with unique solar companies that focus on reusable energy to create unique bundles and discounts. Lastly, we can provide unique education to service agents on how to maintain EVs in optimal conditions. This way, we ensured the reliability and support of vehicles for the island’s unique conditions.
