Portfolio Presentation

Using Microsoft PowerPoint, Google slides, Prezi, or any other similar presentation software, prepare a 10-minute presentation on a current U.S. economic issue.  The presentation should clearly demonstrate student understanding of the issue, its impact and implications on the domestic and/or global economy.  The presentation will include at least 3 sources (citations in APA format in text and on a References slide included at the end of the presentation).  For online courses, the presentation should include a voice-over component so that you are narrating your presentation and this pre-recorded presentation is uploaded as your final assignment.  

Grading Criteria for Portfolio Presentations (Power Point or Prezi): 

Organization: timing and clarity 20% 

Application: connections to course, including, terminology and concepts Logical development: arguments, evidence, persuasiveness, analysis and 30% 

Conclusion 30% 

Depth of Research 20% 

Total 100%
