Additionally, statistics are used in social science to compare the facts. Data collected before and after a policy change is implemented can be compared using social statistics. For instance, determining the extent of poverty necessitates collecting data and evaluating the efficacy and cost of a program designed to aid low-income families may necessitate the same.
