The purpose of this assignment is to assess your ability to successfully conduct an inferential statistical analysis using SPSS. In this assignment, you will use the stroke data you accessed in Week 2 to examine:

• If there is any variance between the age groups (age category variable) in terms of the cost (total treatment and rehab cost) incurred in the hospital.  If variance exists between the age categories, provide estimates of effects size for the age categories.  At the minimum, your analysis report should include a test of homogeneity of variance, a robust test of equality of means, and the mean plots.

Length: 3-5 pages, not including title and reference pages

References: Include a minimum of 2 scholarly resources

Your analysis should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
