Focus your attention on how to identify and craft a research proposal problem statement and how to identify and craft the significance of the research. Post a draft of a Problem Statement and Significance (See DBA Rubric §1.3), which you consider appropriate for your research topic. The Problem Statement and Significance posted should utilize language appropriate for a DBA study, your currently selected research method (qualitative or qualitative), as well as incorporate feedback provided previously from your mentor and in this course. Make sure to include the References used and do not forget that in this DBA program both the General Problem and Specific Problem must be supported by peer-reviewed sources less than 5 years old (from your date of graduation). Students are strongly encouraged to use the formats provided in the Readings and Resources for drafting this proposal section. Students, when replying to one another, should offer kindly constructive critiques and insights regarding the Problem Statement and Significance (DBA Rubric §1.3) posted by others. Recall that replies of “good job” “I agree” or “I disagree” are insufficient to qualify as a substantive reply.
