Week 5 - Discussion: Discuss Diversity in the Criminal Justice System
Acmtake the knowledge you gained during that week and consider how the United States’ approach to diversity in the criminal justice system has evolved over the years. Many people would say that we have made significant strides, while others would vehemently disagree. In what ways do you believe we have progressed? What ways have we possible remained the same? Perhaps there are also ways we have regressed. What might they be?
Our hope, as you continue on this week, is that you gain a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of diversity in the criminal justice system and what can be done to better meet the needs of our multicultural population. Develop your thoughts on this topic into a discussion post.
