Week 4 assign 617
Contracts must contain certain “elements” in order to be enforceable in the courts should one of the parties breach one or more of their required duties. Review the lesson and textbook as well as outside resources to determine the required “elements” for an enforceable contract in your state. Your paper should begin with an explanation of what an enforceable contract is as well as the elements of enforceability in your state.
Next, prepare a simple contract between your business and a customer to purchase $10,000 worth of products from your business. The contract you prepare must contain the elements of enforce-ability in your state. Do not concern yourself with trying to make your contract sound like it was written by a lawyer. Simply state the duties of each party expected under your contract and include other appropriate statements which would make your contract enforceable under the laws of your state.
Finally, list each element of an enforceable contract once again followed by the corresponding sentences in your contract which fulfill that element. Contracts can be very simple when the transaction is simple. The contract does not necessarily require complex clauses filled with tomes of legal terminology.
