WEEK 4 AND WEEK 5 DISCUSSION

 WEEK 4 

For this discussion, use Google to find two scientific sources about the coronavirus pandemic.

• One source should be an example of poor credibility. Describe at least two characteristics of the source that demonstrate its questionable credibility.
• The second source should be highly credible. Describe at least two characteristics of the source that demonstrate its strong credibility.

WEEK 5 DISCUSSION 

Suppose you are researching a new drug that has been shown to be effective in reducing the amount of time that a person is sick with a particular disease.  You want to ensure that the research is rigorous.  

1. Discuss at least two attributes of a study that you would look for to determine whether or not it is rigorous.  
2. Why is it important to ensure that a study is considered rigorous?
