week 4
Pull-out, full inclusion, and co-teaching are three instructional or service delivery models used to provide services to students with SLDs. While many districts use a combination of all three, there are some districts or individual schools that may not provide the full continuum of services that come with the various service delivery models. In this assignment, you are asked to write a letter to a fictitious Director of Special Education, explaining why they should provide a variety of service delivery options within the school. Your letter should include:
- An overview of the advantages of each service delivery model, including relevant research.
- Suggestions as to when to use each model.
- Specific action steps to take when trying to change the service delivery plan of a district.
Length: 5-7 pages
References: Include a minimum of three scholarly resources
Your letter should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect graduate-level writing and APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.
