Introduction

In Week 2, you conducted a general assessment of employee absenteeism. For this project, you will continue your research on absenteeism and develop a problem statement to present to the stakeholders.

Tasks

• Analyze the effect absenteeism has on an organization.
• Analyze an article on absenteeism that focuses on metrics and measurements.
• Analyze the correlation of employee depression, absenteeism, and work performance.
• Evaluate the various options to engage employees and reduce the absenteeism rate.
• Evaluate an employee absenteeism policy.
• Formulate a business problem statement to provide stakeholders regarding your research on absenteeism.

To support your work, use your course and text readings and also use the South University Online Library. As in all assignments, cite your sources in your work and provide references for the citations in APA format.
