Week-3 case study
- Each team should download a case study located in Course Files called Week3-DQ.xlsx.
- Fill-in the required information in Documentation worksheet.
- Using Excel’s functions calculate the Maximum, Average, and Minimum salaries and put them in cells B2, B3, & B4 respectively.
- Label Cell E6 as Income Per Minute. Make sure its appearance matches column headings.
- Considering the income of a player and the number of the minutes he played in a year, calculate the “income/per minute” for all players.
- Sort all data in a descending manor for “Income/Per Minute” Column.
- Insert a 3D Bar chart for all basketball players showing their Name and Income/Per Minute.
- Move the chart to a new worksheet called Income/Per Minute.
- By Wednesday of the week-3, the completed Excel file is attached to the first post of team leader which counts as the first post for all team members.
- By Sunday of week-3 team members will use VoiceThread (One per team member) to analyze the results and discuss the following points.

- Select two players (from any team), considering their income, and Income Per Minute, how would you ask their coaches to improve your return on investment?
- Consider yourself as the owner of a team, research the rank of one of your players in the league that you would like to trade based on your calculations. Identify the player you would like to receive and your reasons.
