W2 Assignment: Gathering Requirements for the IT Solution

After approval, start the final report and begin building your IT solution. Download the capstone report template  and review it.  You will complete different parts of the document every  week, revisit sections as you develop your project, and edit it at the  end for final submission. Begin filling it out this week based on your  work last week and this week.  Note that some items are found in the  Appendices. Include the following:

• Description of problem the IT project will solve.
• Description of the IT project proposed for capstone project.
• Determine the stakeholders.
• Describe how your technology solution will affect local and global individuals, stakeholders, the organization, and society.
• Collect the system requirements from stakeholders.
• Create the Use case to describe the IT solution.
• Choose test cases that will prove the system works.

       Evaluate this week's progress using the        weekly progress report template.   Include the writing sections above for review at the end of the  progress report.  Please include citations for any material which you  used.  It may seem redundant to update your capstone report and to  duplicate the information in the progress report.  However, this greatly  facilitates grading while helping you keep up with the capstone project  documentation.
