Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum read Chapter 5 in the textbook.

In your own words, explain how a personal casualty loss is determined and how the loss is calculated. Include in your discussion post how the determination of the loss is made, and the limits or floors that are placed on personal casualties, as well as any exceptions to those limits.
