For this week's discussion board, I want to reflect on the previous pages in this module.  

In this discussion board, I want to you to show an understanding of the material covered in the previous pages.  Please use the terminology or ideas presented in the previous pages.  Failure to do so, will result in a low discussion board grade.  

INSTRUCTIONS: 

This discussion board will focus on the topic of the Supreme Court.  Please answer all of the following questions:      

1.)  Based on the video I made regarding the current members of the Supreme Court, what do you believe are the major debates and concerns regarding the Supreme Court and how problematic are these concerns, particularly regarding the issue of partisanship (or bias) of the justices.  Explain your response by making references to the video. 

2.)  What do you see as the pros and cons of the fact that Supreme Court justices have life-time terms and the fact that they are NOT elected by the people?  Do you think the Court would be improved if we instituted some term limits on the justices?  Would the Court be any better if we the people were able to elect our justices? Explain your response.
