Statutory Requirements for a Valid Will

Wills are governed by a state law; thus, what may be required in one jurisdiction may not be required in another. In this assignment, we will examine different states’ requirements for wills. It seems confusing to have different standards. Why is that? Can these be standardized, somehow?
