Your thesis statement is your paper's main claim.   Let's develop  your main claim.  Watch the following video lecture on creating a strong thesis statement.

Since all academic writing is a conversation,  please identify the articles to which you are primarily responding.    Next,  write three different versions of your main claim.  Refer to Chapter 4 from the Readings this week to help compose the versions of your main claim.

Afterwards,  describe which claim you think is the strongest and express any concerns you have about your claim.  Your instructor will read your claims and help you figure out which one he or she thinks is the strongest.
