Can a person be considered successful if they do not aspire to be a leader, but want to be a successful follower? Defend your answer. What are the essential characteristics (as you see them) of an effective follower? As a leader, would you want someone who aspired to become a leader or someone who wanted to be a good follower work for you? Is your answer dependent upon the situation?
Groupthink is a danger for teams. Can you think of an example from your own career of groupthink? If so, how did this affect the team decision? If you do not have a personal example, describe one you have read about. When is it better not to convene a team, if ever?
