Answer the questions:  (around 200 words)

1. Should Marshall have fought more for enforcement of Plessy v Ferguson (in other words equality of facilities, equipment, access, etc.), rather than to overturn the decision, abolish legal Jim Crowism and desegregate?

2. Please notice that throughout this lecture the term desegregation has been used almost exclusively, not integration. But, is there a difference

3. Did forced desegregation and all the programs which attempted to enforce the mandate ultimately lead away from acceptance of Blacks as equal and to more division and disdain?
