Walkthrough Assignment Part 2

For this assignment, please complete the following steps and then submit the paper written in step 4:

1. Locate a walkthrough checklist appropriate for your level of school (elementary, high, etc). This may be a walkthrough form already in use at your school, or in use by your district, or one you discover while conducting research on this topic.
2. Use this classroom walkthrough checklist or form to conduct an actual walkthrough – agreed on by the mentor and a classroom teacher in your school, and focused on a particular instructional issue or initiative.
3. Hold a post conference with the classroom teacher and/or mentor to discuss findings from the walkthrough.
4. Write a 1-2 page reflection paper on the outcomes/learnings from the post conference.
