In Forum 1, you determined the industry and market associated with that industry; in this assignment you conduct research for market segmentation and select a target market.

Your assignment is to:

1. Generate at least two (2) market segments based on the market determined in Forum 1.
2. Assess the criteria for the segments (demographics, geographic, behavior, and attitudes, refer to Lumen Learning Principles of Marketing: Module 3, The Purpose of Market Segmentation).
3. Select and assess the target market. Defend why this segment is the target market for your business venture.
4. The assignment should be 2-3 pages (excluding the title, abstract, and reference pages) and follow APA formatting.
5. Support your statements with at least two peer-reviewed resources (excluding textbooks). Cite your sources in APA format.
