1. Prepare testimony to the policy/bill you identified in assignment (1) as a healthcare expert either in support or opposing the bill.
   
   1. Introduce the number of the bill you will be speaking on. 
   2. Indicate right away whether you support the bill, oppose it, or are offering suggestions to improve it.
   3. Explain your reasoning using evidence based resources. 
   4. Keep your remarks short and succinct; 3-5 minutes is usually enough to get the point across to your audience. Make sure you have a compelling case.
