Watch this virtual townhall session with Congressman Takano (Links to an external site.) and students from the Riverside Community College District. The virtual townhall was recorded on April 17th, 2020 and most of the topics discussed were in regards to the government's response to the coronavirus pandemic.

After watching the video, write a 500 word summary of the townhall. In your paper, make sure to answer both of the following questions:

1. What is Mark Takano's background ? Is he conservative or liberal? What committees does he serve on in Congress? What district does he represent etc. ? (You will have to do some research on your own in order to answer these questions)
2. According to Mark Takano, what has  Congress done thus far to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus pandemic ?
