Victims with Disabilities Activity

Few victims with disabilities seek assistance from law enforcement. For each of the following types of disabilities, first provide a definition for the disability type, then discuss a challenge that is unique for victims with that type of disability. Finally, include one strategy that law enforcement can adopt to better assist victims with that type of disability.

6. Independent living

The purpose of this assignment is to consider the various challenges that different disabilities pose during the process of reporting and addressing criminal victimization.
