Develop a list of apparatus resources (engines, ladders, tankers, rescues, etc.) for your department.  Include major features and equipment carried using the following sample format.  The value can be based on purchase price, insured value or current/replacement value.

Also, discuss in paragraph form the following issues:

1.  Are there current maintenance problems or concerns?

2.  Is there a replacement program for apparatus?

3.  If so, how is it funded?

4.  Does the department have unmet apparatus needs such as lack of a tanker or ladder truck?

5.  Has the department ever purchased used apparatus?  If so, why?

APA format is not necessary; however, be sure to double space text.  A powerpoint with basic info and photos is suggested to aid with your in class presentation.  Multiple apparatus of the same year/manufacturer can be grouped together.
