It is important to think about writing as a process. In Week 1, you begin the process of creating the argument paper that you will submit in Week 5. For this paper, you will take a stance and support your position with research. The activities you will complete this week include the following: selecting an appropriate topic, determining your stance about the topic, identifying elements of a topic that it suitable for argument, and familiarizing yourself with the components of a good argument. You will also begin to incorporate APA style and formatting. 

Consider the reading and activities that you have completed this week. 

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words: 

• What are some qualities of a topic that make it suitable for an argument paper?
• Share the topic you have chosen and discuss how it meets the criteria for an argument topic.
• What are the main components of an argument paper?
• How does an argument paper differ from a personal essay?
• Finally, what resources are you using to ensure you are able to use proper APA style within your paper?
