Micheal HallQuestion one: presidential powers from article II of constitution
Discussion one: how the presidential powers have changed
Question 1:
Carefully read through Article II of the Constitution and note the precise language that creates and empowers the office of the President of the United States. Look at sections regarding those powers and think about whether they have changed over the course of history. Similarly, think about the method of election of the president and the involvement of the electoral college. Has that changed at all since the Founding? What were its purposes and are those purposes and goals still viable?
