Unit IV Entrepreneurship

Welcome to week 4! This week we will continue our discussion and research on entrepreneurship. Be sure to read the assignment guidelines and your feedback carefully. The guidelines will give you information on APA formatting, page length requirements, topics for discussion, etc. If you do not complete a thorough and detailed analysis of each topic, you will likely not meet the page requirements.

For this assignment, there will be 2 parts: an ____ and a case study.



Part 1
For this part of your assignment, identify a problem with the potential to meet either intrapreneurial or entrepreneurial opportunity recognition conditions. Conduct research using the CSU Online Library to search for peer-reviewed articles relevant to your identified problem, target market, design thinking, creativity, and relevant experimentation ideas.

Discuss the design-thinking process and how it applies to your identified problem.
Describe one experiment or testing method to apply to your identified problem. Summarize the value of experimentation and testing in the design-thinking process.

Include an introduction. This part of your assignment should be at least two pages in length. References should include your eTextbook and a minimum of one additional credible source.



Part 2: Case Study: Jillian Lakritz, Founder, Yoee Baby
For this part of your assignment, read the case study on pages 74 and 75 of the eTextbook. Once you have read and reviewed the case scenario, respond to the following questions with thorough explanations and a well-supported rationale. Do not use the question-and-answer format. Instead, use an ___ format with headings for this assignment.



Explain the connection between entrepreneurial mindset and opportunity recognition for Jillian Lakritz.
Discuss the four pathways to opportunity identification in relation to this case.
What techniques did Jillian apply to identify the Yoee Baby opportunity?
What problem is Jillian solving with the Yoee Baby toy?
Explain which innovative techniques related to opportunity recognition align with this case, and describe which actions identified in the case represent new thinking, new approaches, or new outcomes.
