Unit 4: Discussion Question 1

Discussion Questions: Post your initial responses to the discussion forum by Wednesday 11:59 p.m. and respond to the discussion of others by Saturday 11:59 p.m.

• Prompt: What factors have prevented educational leaders and teachers from engaging in data-driven decision-making to establish a vision and process for school improvement? Discuss how leadership can overcome such barriers using biblical and ethical principles, as well as other processes.
• Requirements: Initial posts should be 250-300 words. Each response to a classmate must be at least 100 words. Three responses to classmates are required.

  • Prompt: Using the teacher assessment tool found in your primary text (Bernhardt), and your current school situation, do the following:
    • Have two or more teachers/administrators fill out the teacher assessment tool that addresses current vision implementation.
    • Collect, analyze, and aggregate the data found by these responses using the assessment tool.
    • Comment on the findings.
