As Training Manager for the past 5 years, you recognize that your organization needs to place a greater emphasis on Training and Development of Employees.  Budgets are now being reviewed and training is on the table for discussion.  You anticipate that your CEO will cut the budget you present.  You believe his view is that training is expendable.  

1. How you would convince your CEO of the value of training in organizations today?  
2. What are the possible consequences for an organization that does not use sound Training and Development Programs?
