"And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching" (Titus 2:7 English Standard Version).

Reflecting on this verse, what is the role of a teacher in guiding and supporting students in the growth of their moral development? How will your assistance/guidance in moral development differ depending on the grade you are teaching (i.e., K-5 as opposed to grades 6-8)?

What is the difference between learning and development? Consider whether learning influences development or development influences learning and why. For example, could a student move from one stage of development to the next through learning, or in order to learn, must the student have reached a specific level of development?
