QUALITATIVE DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
Case Assignment
Using the information provided in the readings, create a summary of the steps of qualitative data analysis. Arrange your summary by the steps (data collection methods, data preparation methods, coding, developing descriptions and themes, trustworthiness, and credibility techniques [auditing, member checking, field testing, expert panel, and triangulation]). Try to create a summary that will be a useful tool for you in the future, especially as it applies to your research study. In a 3- to 4-page double-spaced paper, include the following elements in your summary for each step:
An example application (use a peer-reviewed journal article or provide your own example).
A resource (book, journal article, or website) that you think is the best reference for each qualitative analysis step (think about what is useful to you in the future). Explain your reasoning. If you have alternative resources, include them as well.
If appropriate, how might you use the steps in your own research?

For SLP 3, add to your annotated bibliography for your doctoral study. Review five new articles that focus on your topic and will help you to build your literature review.
