Trends in Human Resources

Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, read Chapter 2: Trends in Human Resource Management (Noe et al., 2022), read the article The Changing Role of Human Resource Management in an Era of Digital Transformation (Fenech et al., 2019), review the website SHRM (Links to an external site.), and read the executive summary Future Insights: Top Trends Affecting the Workplace and the HR Profession According to SHRM Special Expertise Panels (Links to an external site.). You may wish to review “The Future of Public Human Resource Management” (Battaglio, 2020).

In an initial post of at least 350 words and citing at least two required resources, identify and explore at least two current trends in human resource management. Consider trends such as technology, globalization, diversity, equity and inclusion, remote work, multi-generational workforces, and other emerging trends. Evaluate how these trends have impacted the strategies leaders use to achieve their organizational goals. Discuss the impact each has on creating an inclusive and equitable culture within an organization. Assess the role of HRM in ensuring goals are met.
