It may lead to some startling findings and some potential areas to review within your facility to compare to potential practice problems later in the program. For instance, I searched Arizona and reviewed the snapshot of the state. Mental health and substance abuse benchmarks were shocking! We have some work to do as a state! The same with patient safety! This data could easily be linked to one of the big 8 national problems and of concern at your clinical site.
